A family tradition since 1963...

Peltzer Pines History

Charles Peltzer, Owner of Peltzer Pines Choose and Cut Christmas Tree Farms is a third generation farmer in Anaheim, California. In 1913 his grandfather had a twenty-acre site used for growing citrus trees and dairy farming.  Victor (Charles' father) in 1935, took over the farm site until 1954 when it was sold to Walt Disney and the farm site became part of where Disneyland is today.  Victor and his wife, Irma, relocated to East Anaheim and continued to grow citrus until 1970.  Son, Charles (Chuck) planted the first Peltzer Pines Farm in 1963.  In 1966 he sold his first Christmas trees and is still providing Orange County with beautiful trees 50 years later!

California Grown

Nick Peltzer and his wife Beth, have in the past few years began the transition of managing the Christmas Tree Farms alongside their father, Charles (Chuck) Peltzer.  Nick also owns a Palm Tree Nursery (PeltzerNursery.com) and the youngest son, Charlie Peltzer and his wife Carrie own and operate a pumpkin farm and vineyard (PeltzerFarms.com) in Temecula, California.  And just this past Fall opened their winery, Peltzer Family Cellars.  When you visit Peltzer Pines Christmas Tree Farms in Brea or Silverado, you will most likely run into the 5th generation of Peltzers, Charles' grandchildren, helping out during the Christmas season.  We invite you to come by, meet the family and find out why residents of Orange, Riverside, San Diego and Los Angeles counties have been enjoying beautiful, California-grown, Christmas trees at Peltzer Pines for over 50 years!
